NeAIxt project objectives
NeAIxt is focused on developing advanced technologies to enable secure, efficient, and high-performance AI at the edge. By concentrating on hardware platforms, memory-centric architectures, and neuromorphic computing, NeAIxt will facilitate AI processing directly on devices, resulting in faster, safer and more energy-efficient data handling. Beyond technological innovation, NeAIxt promotes compliance with European standards for safety, privacy, and sustainability, fostering collaboration across the entire AI value chain.

Benefits for Europe and Industry
NeAIxt will reinforce Europe’s technological sovereignty and competitiveness, at a time when AI is rapidly transforming industries and societies. The project’s breakthroughs will empower key sectors mobility, healthcare, industry, safety, consumer and education while addressing critical issues like energy efficiency and ethical considerations. Through open science and knowledge sharing, NeAIxt aims to maximize benefits for both industry and society.

A strong Pan-European Consortium
Led by STMicroelectronics, NeAIxt brings together over 60 partners from research institutions, universities, SMEs, and major industrial players from across Europe. This pan-European consortium combines world-class expertise in semiconductors, AI algorithms, and system integration to drive innovation and secure Europe’s leadership in Edge AI.
Benkei provides support for the project’s management and communication efforts, facilitating seamless collaboration and impactful outreach.

The NeAIxt consortium held its inaugural meeting from September 30 to October 1, 2025,
hosted by STMicroelectronics in Montrouge, Paris region. The team is now moving forward
with ambitious goals to deliver tangible results for Europe’s digital future.
